Localization in Health and Chemical Products Driven by Technology Push
The fourth call for applications titled "Health and Chemical Products" has opened under the Technology-Driven Industrial Initiative Program, which aims to produce strategically important products for Turkey using domestic and national resources.
According to information from the Ministry of Industry and Technology, action has been taken to reduce the foreign trade deficit in the chemical sector, which provides inputs to nearly every sector and holds great importance for the country's development. Under the Technology-Driven Industrial Initiative Program mentioned, the fourth call titled "Health and Chemical Products" will provide support for the development of chemical sector products with high potential in the advancement of domestic and national industry. Additionally, selected products from the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors will be supported within the scope of this call. Support will be provided for domestic production in the pharmaceutical sector, which has export opportunities through significant volume and variety of production and high added value.Project Amount Minimum TRY 10 Million
Under this call, which will constitute an important component of "National Technology Initiative" efforts, investment projects applying must exceed TRY 10 million.
With the Health and Chemical Products Call, for which applications have begun to be accepted as of today, support will be provided for investments in 421 products and 80 innovative technology areas in mid-high and high-technology sectors. In this direction, numerous areas grouped under "Petrochemical Intermediates and Additives", "Radar-Absorbing Surfaces", "Blood and Blood Products", "Drug Delivery Systems for Cancer and Autoimmune Diseases", "Development and Production of Biotechnological Drugs", "Other Pharmaceutical Technologies", "Personalized Medicine (Diagnostic, Detection and Monitoring) Technologies", "Vaccines and Immunological Products, Regenerative Medicine and Artificial Tissue/Organ Technologies", "IT-Based Innovative Medical Devices", "Innovative Medical Imaging Systems", "Next Generation Prosthetics and Orthotics", "Innovative Medical Consumables", "Innovative Implants, Diagnostic Kits" and "Robotic Surgery Technologies" will enable domestic capital companies established in Turkey to access support and incentives provided by the Ministry of Industry and Technology and its affiliated or related institutions from a single point.Application Deadline 13 September
