Astellas Turkey Appoints Şeyma Bahşi as New General Manager. Şeyma Bahşi, who has successfully held the position of General Manager of Astellas Singapore & Malaysia since 2020 and brings more than 22 years of experience in the healthcare sector, has been appointed as the new General Manager of Astellas Turkey. Astellas Pharmaceuticals, operating as a pioneer of change in healthcare with a vision of transforming innovative science into value for society, has made a senior-level appointment in Turkey. Şeyma Bahşi, who has served as General Manager of Singapore & Malaysia at Astellas since July 2020, was appointed to the position of General Manager of Astellas Turkey as of 1 September 2023. In her new role, Bahşi will work as a member of the International Markets Leadership Team, reporting to the Regional Director of Astellas International Markets. Who is Şeyma Bahşi?

Şeyma Bahşi joined Astellas Turkey in 2016 as Sales Director and during her tenure in Turkey led sales teams and the commercial excellence team across four therapeutic areas. Appointed to the position of General Manager of Astellas Singapore & Malaysia in 2020, Bahşi contributed to the successful implementation of strategic initiatives and organizational growth. Bahşi developed a comprehensive commercial strategy and roadmap for the Singapore & Malaysia organization and led the merger of the structures in both countries and the transformation of the organization. By managing all commercial activities, she achieved significant increases in revenue and profitability. Bahşi holds a bachelor's degree in Health Management from Marmara University and an MBA from Galatasaray University. Prior to joining Astellas, she brings more than 22 years of industry experience gained in various commercial positions at Merck, Abdi İbrahim and Eczacıbaşı Pharmaceuticals.
