What is Accreditation?
Accreditation is a method developed to ensure, through a systematic approach, that the quality of educational programs and services is guaranteed.
The purpose of accreditation is to ensure that education provided by higher education institutions meets acceptable quality standards. Furthermore, accreditation creates targets for institutional development and is an indicator of quality in educational standards.
Accredited programs and institutions are subjected to rigorous examination before accreditation is granted and are regularly evaluated to ensure continuous compliance with standards and policies demonstrating the educational quality of institutional programs.
