Pfizer Türkiye and TÜSEB Announce Strategic Cooperation in Clinical Research

Pfizer Türkiye and the Turkish Health Institutes Presidency (TÜSEB) have signed a strategic cooperation protocol aimed at strengthening Türkiye's capacity in clinical research and reinforcing its position in the international research ecosystem.

Pfizer Turkey and the Presidency of Turkey Health Institutes (TÜSEB) have signed a strategic cooperation protocol aimed at enhancing Turkey's capacity in clinical research and strengthening its position in the international research ecosystem.

Under the protocol, the aims include strengthening clinical research capacity in Turkey, increasing collaboration among research centers, supporting knowledge and experience sharing, and contributing to the development of the research ecosystem. The collaboration is intended to increase Turkey's competitive strength in global clinical research and enhance its visibility in international studies.

Pfizer Turkey, conducting its activities with the understanding of "Science Will Win," has been bringing its global scientific expertise together with Turkey's health and research ecosystem since 1957. Following its collaboration with Ankara Bilkent City Hospital in clinical research, Pfizer Turkey is now joining forces with TÜSEB to further advance its support to Turkey's research ecosystem.

The signing ceremony, held in Ankara, was attended by TÜSEB President Prof. Dr. Ümit Kervan and Pfizer Turkey Country President Metin Hullu.

Pfizer Turkey Provides Strong Support for Clinical Research
Commenting on the collaboration, Pfizer Turkey Country President Metin Hullu stated:

"In line with our 'Science Will Win' philosophy and our mission to drive breakthrough innovations that change patients' lives, we have been bringing our global scientific expertise together with Turkey's research ecosystem since 1957. Clinical research stands out as a strategic area that not only provides patients with early access to innovative treatments but also develops countries' scientific research capacity. Turkey possesses significant potential in global clinical research with its strong health infrastructure, qualified researchers, and experienced research centers."

Emphasizing the importance of enhancing Turkey's competence in clinical research, Hullu continued:

"We view this collaboration with TÜSEB as an important step that will increase knowledge sharing, strengthen research capacity, and advance our country's position in international clinical research. We believe that strengthening cooperation between the public, academic, and private sectors will increase Turkey's competitiveness in healthcare and contribute to attracting greater international research investment to our country. As Pfizer Turkey, we will continue to support the scientific research ecosystem through our long-standing clinical research investments and training programs."

TÜSEB: Contributing to "Producing Health" Vision
TÜSEB President Prof. Dr. Ümit Kervan stated that the collaboration will make important contributions to Turkey's health research development:

"As TÜSEB, our priority is to develop Turkey's capacity in health research, encourage scientific production, and position our country in a stronger place within the global research ecosystem. We believe this collaboration, implemented in line with our 'Producing Health' vision, will contribute to strengthening clinical research infrastructure and increasing Turkey's visibility in this field. We view every initiative that will advance the health research ecosystem as a strategic step supporting our country's international competitive strength."

Through this collaboration, efforts are aimed at enhancing Turkey's competence in clinical research, strengthening coordination among research centers, and supporting work toward a more active role in international research projects. It is expected that work shaped by the joint contribution of the public, academic, and private sectors will make important contributions to Turkey's scientific production capacity and global competitive strength in healthcare.
