GSK Turkey and Koç University Collaboration The GSK Academy Certificate Program, launched by GSK Turkey in collaboration with Koç University, has been completed. As part of a management development certificate program for civil society organizations focused on people living with HIV, subject-matter experts and academics provided training on various topics related to professional life and personal development. The GSK Academy Management Development Certificate Program, implemented by GSK Turkey in collaboration with Koç University's Executive Development Programs, with program content developed jointly with civil society organizations working in the HIV field—Red Ribbon Istanbul, Positive Life Association, and Positive-Impact Association—has been completed. A total of 23 participants from Positive Life Association and Positive-Impact Association attended the GSK Academy, which began in January of this year and lasted 10 days in total. Subject-matter experts and academics delivered 8 separate training sessions covering various topics relevant to professional life. Within the scope of the trainings planned following needs analysis meetings conducted with civil society organizations under the GSK Academy umbrella, the program included courses beneficial for professional life such as strategic thinking, digital transformation and trends, project management, finance for non-finance professionals, and reputation management, as well as many other topics that participants could benefit from in their daily lives and which would enrich their knowledge. The positive feedback we received from participants about the certificate program we successfully completed both makes us proud and serves as inspiration for implementing this and similar projects in the coming periods," she said. Zeynep Ergin, Team Leader of Koç University's Executive Development Programs Unit, said: "We believe that this valuable training program we are conducting with GSK will make a significant contribution to developing the business management competencies and social skills of professionals working in HIV-focused associations who manage various business processes with multiple stakeholders as required by their activities.
