Senior appointment made at Gensenta

Gensenta, a company operating within the Eczacıbaşı Group, has announced a senior management appointment. Kaan Alparslan has been named Engineering Director of Gensenta, a manufacturer of finished pharmaceuticals and pharmaceutical raw materials. Gensenta, which has been part of the Eczacıbaşı Group since 2022, ranks among Turkey's leading manufacturers of finished pharmaceuticals and pharmaceutical raw materials. Kaan Alparslan has been appointed as Engineering Director of Gensenta, which stands out for its expert staff and modern facilities. In his new role, Alparslan will lead efforts to develop Gensenta's production activities to world standards and enhance its technological capabilities. Kaan Alparslan completed his undergraduate degree in 1989 at Istanbul Technical University's Department of Mechanical Engineering and obtained his master's degree in 1991 from the same university's Department of Robotics Engineering. Alparslan began his career in 1992 as a Robotics Engineer at Okura Yusoki in Japan, and served at Honda Türkiye from 1997 to 2008 as Engineering Manager and Facilities Maintenance Manager respectively. Subsequently, from 2008 to 2024, Alparslan worked at Novartis Türkiye as Kurtköy Engineering Manager and Engineering Director. As of April, he has joined Gensenta as Engineering Director.
