Bayer Receives Award Bayer's plant protection products facility in Gebze has achieved significant success at the İKMİB Stars of Exports Award Ceremony organized by the Istanbul Chemical Substances and Products Exporters Association (İKMİB). At this year's award ceremony, which was held for the eighth time, Bayer's facility was recognized as the top exporter in the "Insecticides and Repellents" category in 2022. Bayer's Gebze plant protection products facility earned the right to receive the top exporter award for 2022. At the İKMİB Stars of Exports Award Ceremony, organized annually by the Istanbul Chemical Substances and Products Exporters Association (İKMİB) and held for the eighth time this year, the facility was recognized with an award in the "Insecticides and Repellents" category.

At the ceremony, Burak Koçer, Gebze Plant Logistics and Financial Control Manager, who received the award on behalf of Bayer, made the following remarks:

"We are pleased to receive this important award; being recognized with the top exporter award is a great honor for us. This achievement is very valuable in terms of recognition of our plant's quality production and export performance. As Bayer, we will continue to increase our contribution to Turkey's agricultural sector, produce at facilities with global-level technology and environmental standards, and provide innovative solutions." Operating since 1966, Bayer's Gebze plant protection products facility, which exports production to more than 40 countries, achieved exports totaling TRY 238 million to 27 countries from Turkey in 2022, representing a 156% increase compared to the previous year. Expanding its investments, the facility is planning to increase capacity utilization by 25% in the coming period. As the only multinational company with an agricultural products facility in Turkey, Bayer aims to enter new foreign markets with increased production and to raise Turkey's share in plant protection products exports.
