Amgen Turkey and Gensenta Breaking Prejudices Every Day Viewing the active and equal participation of women in economic and social life as a requirement for sustainable development, Amgen Turkey and Gensenta celebrated International Women's Day on 8 March with special events. Amgen also supported the "#BreakingPrejudices" campaign led by the International Women's Day platform worldwide to challenge gender stereotypes in society. Amgen Turkey and Gensenta, which view achieving equality in society as a requirement for sustainable development and a fundamental human right, celebrated International Women's Day on 8 March with activities implemented within the company. Amgen also supported the "BreakingPrejudices" movement, through which the International Women's Day (IWD) platform invites everyone to a world based on gender equality. Within the framework of the events, Amgen and Gensenta employees demonstrated their support through photographs taken with their arms crossed. Alongside various experiences and stories shared within the company on 8 March, the goal was to raise awareness about gender stereotypes as a barrier to gender equality in society.

"Breaking Stereotypes in Gender Equality #BreakingPrejudices" Amgen Turkey and Gensenta General Manager Güldem Berkman, stating that they aimed to raise awareness about gender stereotypes among employees on International Women's Day, said: "As a company that contributes to the development of leadership skills and career paths of our female employees through the Exceptional Women Leaders Program (WE2) and creates value both in our company and in society, this year we have implemented many awareness initiatives on Women's Day. Together with our employees, we crossed our arms and participated in the IWD campaign. Our women may face prejudices in society, in companies and at home. We can break these prejudices together and build an egalitarian and inclusive world that values diversity," she said. At the seminar "Breaking Prejudices in Gender Equality on International Women's Day" organized by Amgen and Gensenta, topics such as "What is Prejudice? How Does It Affect Us" were covered, and General Electric (GE) Board Chair Canan M. Özsoy shared her inspiring journey and story.
