Neslihan Günel has been appointed Plant Manager of Abdi İbrahim Global Pharm, the modern production facility equipped with latest technology that began operations last year, transferred from Turkey.
Abdi İbrahim, the leading company in the Turkish pharmaceutical sector, has assigned a female executive from Turkey to Abdi İbrahim Global Pharm, whose foundation was laid in 2013 and began production at the end of 2015.
Neslihan Günel has been appointed Plant Manager of Abdi İbrahim Global Pharm, which manufactures and markets Abdi İbrahim's modern technology products covering a wide range of therapeutic areas and is Kazakhstan's third-largest pharmaceutical producer.
Neslihan Günel is a graduate of the Chemical Engineering Department at Istanbul Technical University and holds a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering Biotechnology from Boğaziçi University.
Günel completed the Turquality Executive Development Program at Koç University and began her professional career in 2002 at Abdi İbrahim as a Liquid Production Engineer.
At Abdi İbrahim, Günel served successively as Liquid Production and Packaging Manager, Solid Production Manager, Technical Operations Manager, and Product Transfer and Validation Director. In her last position, she was involved in technology transfer projects both domestically and internationally, particularly in Algeria, South Korea, Japan, Europe, and Canada.
In her new position in Kazakhstan, Neslihan Günel will be responsible for overseeing operations related to production, quality control, R&D, and all technical activities.
