ULUSOY UN Sustains Strong Growth

According to Economist magazine's "Turkey's 500 Largest Companies in Anatolia" survey, which has monitored production outside Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir for 21 years, Ulusoy Un climbed 5 places on the list to become Anatolia's 12th largest company. Having ranked 4th among food companies last year, Ulusoy Un moved up to 3rd this year, reaffirming its position as the leading company in its sector and in Samsun. 

Results from this year's "Turkey's 500 Largest Companies in Anatolia" survey, conducted by Economist magazine for 21 consecutive years, have been announced. Based on 2023 data for companies headquartered outside Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir, Ulusoy Un achieved net sales of TRY 24,342 million in 2023, making it Anatolia's 12th largest company. Ulusoy Un, which ranked 17th on the list last year, thus jumped 5 positions, leaving its mark on the 21st edition of the survey. Ulusoy Un maintained its 1st ranking among flour companies this year as in the previous year, and rose from 4th to 3rd place among food companies. According to city rankings, it remained Samsun's leading company. Ulusoy Un thus continued to maintain its position as Turkey's flour market leader and by far the country's largest flour producer. Speaking on the matter, Ulusoy Un Board Chairman Dr. Eren Günhan Ulusoy said, "As Ulusoy Un, we now aim to position ourselves not just in flour but as a global producer across the entire flour and flour-based products category. In the coming period, we want to be present at every stage of the chain from wheat to table. This is evidenced by our new partnership in domestic seed production, our acquisition of Söke, Turkey's retail giant in the flour sector, and our acquisition of Pastificio Mediterranea S.r.l., which has been producing high-quality Italian pasta for over 100 years."
