Şenpiliç Receives EU Export Authorization for Its Further Processing Plant
Türkiye's leading integrated chicken meat producer Şenpiliç has obtained export authorization to the European Union following the quality and food safety practices implemented at its further processing plant. The company, which currently exports regularly to more than 30 countries and ranks among the top three in its category on the Turkey Exporters Assembly (TİM) 1000 list, is now preparing to extend its strong position in the domestic market to the European market with this step.
Şenpiliç, Turkey's leading integrated poultry meat producer, has obtained export authorization to the European Union following quality and food safety practices implemented at its advanced processing facility. Today, the company, which conducts regular exports to more than 30 countries and ranks in the top three of its category on the Turkey Exporters Council (TİM) 1000 list, is preparing to extend its strong domestic market position to the European market with this step.
Savaş Ceylanlı, Quality and Assurance Director at Şenpiliç, noting that the company conducts its export operations in full compliance with international standards such as Halal and FFSC 22000 Food Safety management system, stated: "Obtaining export authorization to the European Union is the strongest indicator that our quality approach is appreciated in the international arena."
Şenpiliç, which ranks in the top three of its category on the Turkey Exporters Council (TİM) 1000 list as Turkey's leading integrated poultry meat producer, has obtained authorization to export to the European Union following the high hygiene, traceability and food safety standards it applies at its advanced processing facility. Thus, the company has implemented a strategic step that will carry its strong position achieved in Turkey further into global markets.
Şenpiliç currently conducts annual exports of approximately 50,000 tonnes to more than 30 countries, including Iraq, Georgia, Gulf countries, Turkic Republics, Libya, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Syria, Mauritania and Hong Kong. The company, which holds high market share particularly in markets such as Iraq, Georgia, Syria and Mauritania in white meat exports from Turkey, will increase its annual export volume with the addition of the EU market to its export network.
The product portfolio produced in high-standard advanced processing facilities includes different categories such as meatball product group, doner product group, coated product group and delicatessen product group. These products constitute an important part of the diversity and production capability that Şenpiliç presents to international markets.
