Kerevitaş Doubles Exports in 2021
Kerevitaş, market leader in the frozen food, canned goods and margarine sectors in Turkey, achieved significant success in 2021 with its production, distribution, domestic sales and export performance. Kerevitaş consolidated revenue rose to TRY 4.9 billion with a 59.2% increase, while its exports doubled compared to the previous year.
Kerevitaş, the leading company in Turkey's fresh frozen food, canned goods and margarine market, disclosed its 2021 financial results to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP). Kerevitaş increased its consolidated revenue by 59.2% compared to the previous year, raising it to TRY 4.9 billion. The company's consolidated gross profit reached TRY 977 million, while EBITDA stood at TRY 595 million. Kerevitaş, which maintains its leadership in various markets globally with its export capacity, increased its 2021 exports by a record rate of 99%, raising total exports to TRY 771 million.
SuperFresh maintains leadership in Turkey
SuperFresh, the brand under Kerevitaş, continued its growth as the undisputed leader in the frozen food sector with 100% brand awareness. In 2021, SuperFresh entered approximately 1.3 million new households and reached the tables of 24 million people. SuperFresh enriched its portfolio with a total of 17 innovative products including Pizza Toast Cheddar Cheese, Sandwich Bread, Thin-cut Potatoes, 4 Cheese Stone Oven Pizza and Smiles Potatoes, with channel-specific products leading the way, and expanded its reach in Turkey and worldwide through effective communication efforts.Standing out in the margarine sector
Besler, maintaining its leadership in the margarine sector in Turkey and in various countries, continues to set the direction in the market with leading brands such as Ülker Bizim Yağ, Teremyağ and Luna. Ülker Bizim Yağ, the most consumed brand in the market and with the most loyal consumers, maintains its clear leadership in the packaged margarine market with a 36% revenue share. In addition to its exports to more than 50 countries across six continents in the margarine category, Kerevitaş added eight new countries to its portfolio this year, strengthening its position and regional leadership in exports.
