'Every Drop for Soil' Continues Agricultural Awareness Campaign Doğuş Çay's "Every Drop for Soil Project," launched in 2016 together with TEMA Foundation, continues agricultural awareness efforts through awareness-raising and outreach activities. Collaborative efforts aimed at supporting sustainable tea farming continue with work and projects designed to raise awareness through proper practices. Within the scope of the joint support work carried out by TEMA Foundation and Doğuş Çay under this cooperation, purchased Doğuş Çay packages contribute to the improvement of tea-growing soils… Doğuş Çay continues the 'Every Drop for Soil Project' it launched in Rize in 2016 in cooperation with TEMA Foundation to protect soil health. The company, which continues its work through various sustainable farming practices to bring tea into the future, carries out support activities through the cooperation featured on packages within the scope of raising awareness among producers and consumers. Through the 'Every Drop for Soil' project launched by Doğuş Çay and TEMA Foundation in 2016, awareness-raising activities on soil-related matters for producers and all stakeholders affected by production have reached over 12,000 people to date. Sample application work and training continue in a total of 9 tea gardens in Rize, Trabzon and Artvin. Thanks to the project, which began with awareness-raising activities to stakeholders regarding soil acidification problems in tea-growing areas and has progressed successfully, soil acidity in gardens where practices have been applied for many years has reached levels ideal for tea farming. With the restoration of soil health, average yield increase reached 56 percent in 2022.
