Besler Raises Revenue to TRY 19.6 Billion in First Half of 2026

Besler increased its consolidated revenue by 7.6% in the first six months of 2026 compared to the same period last year, reaching TRY 19.6 billion. In the same period, the company's EBITDA stood at TRY 2 billion, while cash flow from operating activities amounted to TRY 1.6 billion.
Besler raised its consolidated turnover by 7.6 per cent year on year to TRY 19.6 billion in the first six months of 2026. Over the same period the company’s EBITDA was TRY 2 billion and cash flow from operating activities TRY 1.6 billion.
Besler, which operates in the frozen food, frozen bakery, canned goods, oils and spreadable cheese categories, has announced its financial results for the first half of 2026.
The company’s consolidated turnover in the first six months of 2026 was TRY 19.6 billion, an increase of 7.6 per cent compared with the same period of 2025. Besler’s gross profit for the period was TRY 4.5 billion and its earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) TRY 2 billion. The company generated TRY 1.5 billion in export revenue in the first half of the year and TRY 1.6 billion of cash flow from operating activities.
Besler operates with the SuperFresh brand in frozen food and canned goods, DFU in frozen bakery, Bizim Yağ, Terem, Luna, Yayla, Sabah and Halk in the oils category, and Ülker Sürmix in spreadable cheese.
30 new products reached consumers
While maintaining its position in its main categories in the first half of 2026, Besler expanded its product portfolio through innovation. In the first six months of the year the company launched a total of 30 new products – 16 in the frozen food business unit, 5 for the Turkish market in the oils business unit, and 9 for export markets and the out-of-home consumption (OOH) channel.
Reaching 21 million households across approximately 64 million plates, Besler’s main brands also held their market positions. SuperFresh maintained its leadership in the frozen food category with a 32 per cent market share, while the Bizim Yağ and Terem brands reached a 68 per cent share of the margarine category.
SuperFresh broadened its range in the premium pizza segment with Pizza Napoliten, and added a new category to its portfolio with the new product Frulove.
Growth in frozen bakery and out-of-home sales
Alongside the main categories, out-of-home consumption and frozen bakery activities also contributed to Besler’s growth.
The company increased sales of pastry products in the oils category by 18 per cent compared with the same period of 2025 and recorded 10 per cent growth in the catering segment. In the frozen bakery business line, bake-off sales rose 53 per cent in the first half of the year compared with the same period last year.
Sustainability investments continue
Besler continues to support its growth strategy with investments in production infrastructure, efficiency and sustainability.
The second phase of SAFER, the smart agriculture project developed to improve efficiency in agriculture and the supply chain, was rolled out in the first half of 2026. The solar power plant the company installed at its Emirdağ factory also came into operation in the same period.
Besler also secured EUR 25 million of long-term financing from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). The financing is to be used to strengthen production infrastructure, accelerate efficiency investments, support sustainability projects and fund the company’s long-term growth strategy.

In his assessment of the company’s first-half results, Mert Altınkılınç, President of the Yıldız Holding Food Group and CEO of Besler, said they had delivered a strong performance in the first half of 2026 thanks to leading brands, innovation and a disciplined business model.
Altınkılınç said that, in line with the goal of shaping the future of sustainable food, they had turned innovative products, efficiency practices and long-term investments into concrete results.
Noting that the long-term financing from the EBRD was one of the important steps supporting the company’s growth strategy, the Besler CEO said investment in production infrastructure, efficiency, sustainability and export capacity would continue in the period ahead.
