Yapı Fuarı – Turkeybuild Istanbul kicks off

Turkeybuild Istanbul, ranked among the world's five largest construction trade fairs, opened to visitors today. Held for the 46th time this year, the fair will be open for visits at the TÜYAP Fair and Congress Center until 20 April.

Packed Event Programme

The Turkeybuild 2024 event programme will span four days filled with informative and inspiring sessions covering architecture, innovative design approaches, artificial intelligence, sustainability and building materials. Discussions held on 17 April under the theme "Thinking Outside the Box" will shed light on unconventional ideas and groundbreaking materials for the construction sector. On 18 April, the evolution of design alongside technological and artificial intelligence innovations will be explored under the heading "Design, Develop, Produce with AI!" Topics such as 3D modelling, smart materials, design process transformations, material technology revolutions and the creative capacities of smart buildings will be investigated, with advanced sector solutions and AI-supported sustainable architecture to be discussed.

Sustainable Construction

The 19 April session "Beyond Green" will emphasize the importance of sustainability in construction, addressing sustainable development goals and environmentally conscious design. Topics will include environmentally friendly practices, social awareness projects, carbon-neutral buildings, net-zero initiatives, materials that minimize carbon footprint and sustainable architectural solutions. The "DNA of Architectural Communication" talks to be held on 20 April will also focus on communication and marketing issues in the construction sector.

Strong Interest from Sector Professionals

The fair, which is expected to attract over 400 foreign buyers from more than 70 countries through the "VIP Buying Delegation Programme" held annually, features pavilions representing the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Russia and Poland as highlights.
