Protech Group Acquires Evotech

Protech Group Acquires Evotech Peintures Prolux Inc., part of Protech Group and based in Quebec, Canada, has acquired the liquid coatings business of Evotech Peintures Industrielles, headquartered in Ontario, Canada. Evotech is a liquid coatings manufacturer with a main production facility based in Ontario, Canada. The company also operates two service centres, one in Quebec City and another in Mississauga, Canada. All of the company's production equipment and offices will continue operations under the Protech Group brand. Protech Group President David Ades said, "Following completion of the acquisition, we look forward to welcoming the talented team at Evotech into the Protech Group family. This acquisition strengthens our capabilities in water-based and solvent liquid coating technologies and formulations, enabling us to forge new relationships with multinational and local customers and reinforce our presence in strategically positioned manufacturing and service facilities." Since 1965, Evotech formulations, particularly marketed under the Acrythane® brand, have been refined for optimum performance in the windows and doors industry as well as the commercial vehicles and heavy equipment sectors. Founded in 1976 initially as a manufacturer-focused thermoset powder coating brand, Protech Group has progressively expanded its coating solutions across various technologies including thermoplastics and specialty materials. The company continues to operate as a comprehensive coatings supplier meeting customer and industry requirements. Acquisitions remain an ongoing part of Protech Group's growth strategy.
