PPG Introduces Fast Color-Matching Technologies PPG has introduced PPG DIGIMATCH camera and PPG VisualizID software for easier, faster color matching in the global automotive refinish industry. PPG (NYSE: PPG) announced the launch of PPG VISUALIZID™ advanced 3D visualization software and PPG DIGIMATCH™ digital color camera for easier and faster color matching in body shops. The advanced tools are the latest components of PPG LINQ™, PPG's end-to-end digital solution for the global automotive refinish industry. PPG DigiMatch is a multi-angle digital color camera that helps body shop employees match colors more easily and quickly. It features a lightweight, ergonomic design that can be operated with one hand. The camera's six viewing angles and six reflection angles provide color and texture information to help capture accurate formula matches quickly and efficiently. PPG VisualizID software gathers information from PPG DigiMatch or PPG's other spectrophotometers to help users find the best color match from PPG's comprehensive color portfolio. This is an industry-first software that digitizes what was previously a trial-and-error process and ultimately reduces waste.
