Award for Polisan Kansai Boya and Poliport

Polisan receives two silver awards from Ecovadis for sustainability performance across operations Ecovadis, which conducts sustainability ratings across 160 countries and more than 200 sectors, has awarded silver certificates to both Poliport, the port operations subsidiary of Turkey's established Polisan Holding, and Polisan Kansai Boya, the group's paints affiliate, in recognition of their sustainability initiatives. Polisan Kansai Boya General Manager Cemal Drahor and Poliport General Manager Efe Hatay stated in their remarks that they will continue to develop projects to further strengthen their sustainability model, which focuses on ethical values, environmental stewardship, employee welfare and supply chain responsibility. Polisan Holding has joined Ecovadis' network, which conducts sustainability assessments of more than 90,000 companies across more than 200 sector groups in 160 countries. Ecovadis has completed its evaluation and rating process for Polisan Kansai Boya and Poliport. Accordingly, Polisan Kansai Boya achieved placement in the top 8% of paints sector performers on sustainability, while Poliport ranked in the top 15% in the storage sector. Ecovadis, which examined 21 main criteria grouped under "environment, social responsibility, ethics and sustainable procurement" along with hundreds of sub-categories, awarded silver certificates to both companies for successfully implementing their sustainability models.

Investment in the world's future

Cemal Drahor, General Manager of Polisan Kansai Boya, which is recognized for its environmentally responsible approach, consumer-focused products and projects that deliver social value alongside quality, released a statement following the award. Noting that the company has taken pioneering steps in sustainability within the paints sector, Cemal Drahor stated: "This approach earned our company the Silver Award from Ecovadis, the world's most trusted sustainability rating platform. We ranked in the top 8%. Through our sustainability approach that focuses on product lifecycle and environmental performance, we are not only bringing innovative products to the paints sector but also investing in the world's future. We will further develop these activities and continue to improve our sustainability performance day by day."

We will continue to enhance the quality of our sustainability work

Efe Hatay, General Manager of Poliport, which has operated in the Kocaeli Gulf region for over 50 years and is among the region's major port operators, stated: "Following Ecovadis' examination and assessment, we learned that we rank in the top 15% of companies implementing sustainability initiatives in our sector. The result excited us, increased our motivation and encouraged us to set even more ambitious targets." Efe Hatay said they will continue to enhance the quality of their sustainability initiatives, which are grounded in ethical values and centered on environmental responsibility, employee welfare and supply chain management.
