Marshall Provides Paint Support for Schools in Earthquake Zone

Marshall, under its "Color Life" slogan, is providing paint support for the painting of all schools in need in Defne district of Hatay, located in the earthquake region, this year. The work to be carried out in cooperation with Hatay Provincial Education Directorate and Defne District Education Directorate included a painting event held on Tuesday, 6 February at "Harbiye Mezyet Ekrem Karateke Primary School." The event, attended by Defne Mayor İbrahim Güzel, included a celebration with students.

Marshall Marketing Director Pınar Adabağ made the following statement on the matter:

"We have focused on Defne district the added value we create for our country each year through this project. By identifying all schools in need in our district together with our National Education Directorate, we wanted to create an environment where our children's lives would be colored as Marshall, and to ensure they receive more comfortable education. If we have helped our children overcome some of the trauma caused by the earthquake through this work, how fortunate we are! School paintings in Defne will continue throughout 2024. As Marshall, we will meet all interior and exterior facade paint needs of the schools. We also thank Defne Municipality and Hatay provincial and district National Education Directorates for their contributions to the project." Marshall's "Color Life" project began in Turkey in 2010 with work on Kadıköy Ayrılık Çeşmesi Street. It later continued with the renovation of historic structures at Yıldız Palace, Kula district in Manisa, Kadıköy Yeldeğirmeni neighborhood, Kastamonu, Forty Centuries Turkish Homeland Street in Hatay, Kuşadası, and within the scope of Bilecik Gölpazarı Municipality Taşhan Conservation Area Environmental Planning Project.
