Bostik Products Selected for Floor Coverings at Manisa Integrated Regional Hospital

Bostik became the solution partner for Manisa Integrated Regional Hospital, one of the "City Hospitals" projects launched under the Health Transformation programme by the Ministry of Health. The hospital project, for which Bostik undertook floor covering applications, will be among the region's largest with 178,204 square metres of enclosed space. Advantages Bostik Technology Provided to the Project

In the Manisa Integrated Regional Hospital project, a total application area of 80,000 m² for PVC covering work, including common areas, corridors and examination rooms, was first prepared with substrate preparation. Bostik floor preparation products were used to meet the project's requirements for performance, rapid application and the smooth, even surfaces achieved in the final finish. Existing reinforced concrete surfaces were primed with Bostik NivoTech PoroPrim to increase adhesion and prevent rapid water absorption. NivoTech PoroPrim is an acrylic copolymer-based primer specifically designed for self-levelling screeds, featuring excellent adhesion and coverage properties, suitable for absorbent and porous surfaces, ready-to-use, bright red in colour. After primer application, surface evenness was achieved with the self-levelling screed Bostik Roxol 710. Bostik Roxol 710 is a highly fluid, cement-based floor levelling screed that sets quickly and becomes ready for use, designed for thicknesses between 1 and 10 mm and for indoor use only. It is manufactured to TS EN 13813 specifications. It self-levels in class CT / C25 / F7. Its fluid, easy-to-apply, fast-drying and self-levelling nature provides a quick and quality solution in application work.
