Kocaer Çelik Invests TRY 100 Million in Galvanizing Facility Tolga Demirkıran, General Director of Kocaer Çelik, stated that Kocaer Çelik is among the companies with the largest capacity in its sector in Turkey, adding that the company continues to grow and develop rapidly through the investments it has made: "Kocaer Çelik is among the companies with the largest capacity in its sector in Turkey. Demirkıran reported that Kocaer Çelik operates with three factories in the Izmir, Aliağa region and will implement a galvanizing facility with an annual production capacity of 100,000 tonnes through an investment of approximately TRY 100 million by year-end, creating employment for nearly 200 additional people. Noting that the company will continue with new investments in addition to the aforementioned investments, Demirkıran stated: "We are conducting our work to serve our customers better with value-added products."

Tolga Demirkıran emphasized that 85 percent of their sales are exports, continuing as follows: "We export to 140 countries across a total of 6 continents abroad. There is hardly a country in the world where our products are not present. Wherever steel exists, we are there. Through the use of our products in different sectors and our ability to reach end users in these sectors, with our technological infrastructure and the strength of our human resources, we are present in many sectors. We are a company capable of meeting needs in many fields such as energy, construction, construction engineering, automotive, transportation, mining, tunneling and machinery manufacturing."

Company Prioritizes Digitalization

Demirkıran, drawing attention to the fact that Kocaer Çelik is a company conducting work aimed at sustainable profitable growth along with digitalization, environmental and social contribution: "Currently we have significant infrastructure work and investments related to digitalization (Industry 4.0)," he said. Emphasizing that they attach great importance to digitalization, Demirkıran also noted that they have implemented work in robotics and full automation with respect for human dignity at the forefront.
