DYO Boya supports the GAZİRAY Project, Turkey's fourth-largest suburban rail line, under the National Suburban Train Set Project. With EN 45545-2 certified paints developed to safety and durability standards for rail systems, it continues its social investment. Through its collaboration with Safkar Firması, DYO provides long-lasting protection with highly durable DYO paints against harsh conditions for the GAZİRAY Project.
Safe and modern travel experience
Launched as Turkey's fourth-largest suburban rail line following Istanbul, Ankara and İzmir, with its first set delivered to Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality, the GAZİRAY Project aims to strengthen the region's transport infrastructure. Under the project, a total of 8 suburban train sets comprising 32 vehicles will be manufactured. Each train set is designed to carry passengers at an operating speed of 90 kilometres per hour. These sets, consisting of four vehicles with two driver cabins, will each have a total passenger capacity of 1,000, of which 206 are seated.
DYO's products developed for rail systems prioritise passenger safety alongside durability. EN 45545-2 certified paints used in the GAZİRAY Project demonstrate high fire resistance, providing a safe travel experience.
