UV-resistant, extra elastic, forms an effective barrier against salts and carbon dioxide, applicable in interior and exterior spaces, comprises cement-based powder component containing chemical additives that increase waterproofing and workability, and emulsion polymer-based liquid component; water-proofing and white-color concrete protection mortar.
Protects concrete against de-icing salts such as calcium and sodium chloride, seawater and carbon dioxide gas, and carbonation. Has UV resistance. Resistant to chemicals such as sodium sulfate, sodium chloride and sodium hydroxide.
Ideal waterproofing material prior to ceramic coating or screeding. Suitable for use in drinking water tanks. High bond strength, UV-resistant extra elastic.
Non-corrosive to reinforcement or steel. Applicable on horizontal and vertical surfaces. Resistant to freeze-thaw cycles. Easy to apply with brush, trowel, roller or spray.

• On concrete surfaces that require protection against seawater and de-icing salts, • In permanently wet areas such as pools, water tanks, • In wet rooms such as bathrooms, showers, WC, • On surfaces exposed to movement (pedestrian-traffic, vehicular loads, elongation) on terraces, balconies and roofs subject to light pedestrian/traffic loads without requiring protective covering, • On foundations and shear walls, • Applied on concrete, plaster, screeding surfaces. Application Instructions • Ensure that the surface is cured, free of residue that would prevent adhesion, and sound. If there are defects on the application surface, they should be repaired with Strochem Repair Mortar. • The application surface should be protected from sun, rain and dust for 1 day and application should not be carried out under direct sunlight. Before proceeding with application, the surface should be saturated with water. Care should be taken to avoid ponding. • 20 kg powder mortar should be slowly poured onto 10 lt liquid component and mixed thoroughly without lumps. It is recommended that the mixture be made with a low-speed mixer at less than 500 rpm. • The mortar should be allowed to rest for 5 minutes for maturation, and stirred again for 1-2 minutes before starting application. • The prepared mortar should be applied to the base as 2 coats with a roller or brush. Between coats, depending on temperature, wait approximately 5-6 hours. Coats should be applied in perpendicular directions to each other. A total application thickness of 2-3 mm will be sufficient. • Chamfer tape should be applied to corners and joints in the application area. Where chamfer tape is not present, joint details should be rounded and mesh reinforcement should be added to the mortar. • The prepared mortar must be consumed within 6 hours. Under unfavorable environmental conditions such as high temperature, low humidity, wind, this period may be shortened. Mortar that has exceeded its working time should be discarded. • After application, hands and application tools should be washed with plenty of water. • After application, the surface should be protected from direct sunlight, rain, frost and wind for at least 1 day. • Where the surface on which Strochem 325 UV-Resistant Waterproofing is applied is subjected to intense pedestrian traffic, it should be covered with a protective coating material such as screeding or ceramic. • Applied areas should be left for at least 3 days before being put into service or covered. If the application area is a water tank, the product is expected to cure for at least 28 days. • Care should be taken not to damage the waterproofing material mechanically during the covering process.
