AlpinaSilan W Prevents Bacterial Growth on Surfaces
AlpinaSilan W, an interior wall paint manufactured by Filli Boya, has gained consumer approval thanks to its bacteria-inhibiting properties. The paint can be preferred in areas where hygiene is especially important, such as children's rooms, kitchens, bathrooms and healthcare facilities.
Following the global impact of coronavirus, the importance of hygiene has increased further. Filli Boya continues to develop products that enable consumers to live in healthier environments.
In this context, Filli Boya has enhanced all features of its AlpinaSilan W product, which is approved by the Ministry of Health. Modified with chemicals that prevent microorganism formation, AlpinaSilan W is an antibacterial, water-based, silk matte, fully wipeable decorative topcoat interior wall paint with minimal allergy-causing potential.
AlpinaSilan W can be preferred for exterior surfaces of spaces not insulated against heat loss, kitchens, dining rooms, bathrooms and other environments with high moisture that carry bacteria formation risk, as well as healthcare facilities and children's rooms. Thanks to its special formula and technology, AlpinaSilan W can prevent bacteria formation in industrial areas.
This product, which also has minimal allergy-causing properties, is applied to interior surfaces in silk matte colours. AlpinaSilan W's high durability strength, reinforced with silicon technology, has been further increased with the new 'Colour and Surface Protection Technology' to the highest level. Additionally, AlpinaSilan W is environmentally friendly thanks to its water-based composition and non-irritating odour.
Ten Billion Bacteria from a Single Bacterium in Half a Day
Internal Medicine Specialist Dr. Ozan Kocakaya points out that non-pharmaceutical measures including education and cleaning activities are important when fighting bacteria. Kocakaya states: "While viruses that cause respiratory diseases can remain alive on surfaces for 48 hours, a bacterium found on a wall can double every 20 minutes, increasing its numbers. This may seem slow at first glance, but it means that a single bacterium transforms into a colony of 10 billion in less than half a day. The protection of elderly people, those with chronic diseases, those whose immune systems are not functioning properly, or those whose immunity has been weakened as a result of certain treatments from bacterial load on surfaces and maximum attention to environmental precautions is a matter highlighted by the World Health Organization. Reliable antibacterial wall paints without antibiotics prevent bacteria multiplication and render those carried into our homes from outside ineffective, thus providing serious protection," he explains.Advertisement
