2025 Fourth Quarter Performance
AkzoNobel's organic sales retreated by 1 percent in the final quarter of 2025 due to declining volumes, while total revenues fell 9 percent due to exchange rate effects. However;

-Adjusted EBITDA came in at EUR 309 million at constant exchange rates;

The company completed the disposal of Akzo Nobel India Ltd. during the same period, generating approximately EUR 922 million in proceeds, of which EUR 655 million contributed to operating income.

2025 Full-Year Results
AkzoNobel's performance for the full year 2025 also reflects strong financial discipline and efficiency-focused management practices:

-Organic sales remained flat; price/product mix growth was offset by lower volumes,

Strategic Outlook and Executive Assessment
AkzoNobel Chief Executive Officer Greg Poux-Guillaume commented on the announced results, emphasizing that the company succeeded in improving operational efficiency:

"In a year when markets declined substantially, we increased our profitability by raising our adjusted EBITDA margin to 14.2 percent. This is a testament to our strong operational practices. Furthermore, the proposed merger plan with Axalta carries the potential to create greater value for our customers and shareholders."

The company's CEO noted that market recovery in 2026 could be limited, indicating that particularly the first half of the year may be challenging, while the second half could benefit from more favorable comparison bases.
