Interview with Yiğit Dölen, Founder and General Manager of Zirve Makine

In this interview, Yiğit Dölen, Founder and General Manager of Zirve Makine, answered our questions. Yiğit Dölen provided information about the key solution products and services offered by Zirve Makine.

Could you briefly tell our readers about yourself, your education and professional background?

I was born on 10 July 1972 in Yozgat. I completed my education at Yozgat Sarıkaya High School. Due to financial constraints, I started my professional career in 1990. My first experience was in the mechanical installation sector. I worked as a subcontractor for leading companies serving the chemical and paints industries.

Could you provide information about Zirve Makine's founding process and its current structure?

We crowned our accumulated experience in manufacturing, assembly, installation and special projects across various sectors by establishing Zirve Makine. Today, we continue our operations as one of the leading companies in our sector. We conduct our work in a closed area of 2,000 square meters and an open area of 3,000 square meters. Our company meets the needs of industrial facilities, manufactures processes and equipment, produces specially designed machinery and combines its expertise in the steel construction sector with its business processes to develop tailored solutions that directly address companies' requirements.

What sectors does Zirve Makine primarily serve and what types of products does it supply? Could you provide information about Zirve Makine's products, brands and services?

We provide turnkey services for the processes required for the production of chemicals, paints and their by-products, as well as machinery and auxiliary equipment, from the project phase onwards. In line with our customers' needs, we install fully automated systems with recipe control (Scada) operated by a single operator. Our turnkey projects include: PVA, styrene acrylic, industrial polymer facilities, paints industry facilities, textile and construction chemicals facilities, cellulose derivatives facilities, package type treatment facilities, mineral oil facilities, isocyanate prepolymer facilities, plasticizer facilities, antifreeze facilities, alkyd resin and polyester resin facilities, thermoplastic paints facilities, cellulosic and thinner facilities, formaldehyde urea facilities, tinting units, autoclave facilities and pilot plant manufacturing. Our main products include: autoclaves specially designed for the food industry, crushers, grinders and mixer machines, decanters, reactors, milk mixers, blenders, condensers, condensate mixers, dissolvers, dispersers, tube heat exchangers, vertical columns, storage tanks, product tanks, pilot reactors, GAF filters, coarse filters, self-cleaning filters, Niagara filters, bag filters, filling machines (drums/tins/IBC), cooling towers and hot oil furnaces. Zirve Makine is the Turkey distributor for HPS Pig System. We enjoy a competitive advantage over our rivals through the value we provide to our customers, rapid service and support. We promptly supply maintenance, repairs and spare parts for the facilities, machinery and equipment we have installed.

What type of work do you conduct in the innovation and R&D fields as Zirve Makine? Do you have projects developed within the scope of university-industry cooperation, and if so, what are they?

We have various types of filter products in development. Our products are being tested by leading industrial companies in the sector where we operate, and we continue with projects supported by universities and TÜBİTAK. With university guidance, the installation of our Acrylic Resin facility continues. Through our projects supported by KOSGEB and TÜBİTAK, we establish advantageous facilities for our customers.

Could you discuss your domestic and international sales activities? What types of products do you primarily sell to which regions domestically and internationally?

Among our projects are alkyd resin, polyester resin and construction chemicals for leading companies in Azerbaijan; PVA facilities and construction chemicals for Uzbekistan; cotton oil factories, water-based chemical production facilities, construction chemicals, filling machines and caustic soda production facilities for Turkmenistan; and PVA production facilities for Algeria and Qatar. We serve all regions domestically. We continue facility installation, maintenance, repair and improvement work for leading chemical companies.

Could you provide information about Zirve Makine's environmental policy and sustainability approach? What can you say about your work regarding occupational health and safety?

Our administrative and production staff are highly experienced and qualified in their fields. Our personnel, who have dedicated years to this work and have worked together for many years, comply with occupational safety procedures and have the potential to advance experience and quality while producing in line with the facilities we establish. Our expert team continues to grow year after year. We develop ourselves and our staff by incorporating technological advances into our projects. Every facility we build is designed in accordance with environmental regulations and occupational safety procedures.

What criteria are prioritized when Zirve Makine formulates its investment plans? Does Zirve Makine have investment plans for the coming periods, and if so, what are they?

As Zirve Makine, we can summarize these criteria as R&D, projects and facilities needed to make products imported from abroad producible in our country. To date, we have progressed by adapting innovations to our facilities, developing and growing. We can say our greatest objective is to provide even better service to our customers and to develop our domestic and international portfolio with satisfaction.
