Could you briefly tell our readers about yourself, your education and your professional background in the sector?
Hello, I am Murat Dereli. I was born in 1975. I manage the company's export and domestic sales activities. I received my university education at Istanbul University in Classical Philology and Literature. I have been actively working at the company since 2011. I speak English and Russian at a good level, and Italian at an intermediate level. I greatly enjoy working with a focus on exports.Could you tell us about Dermak Makina's development process from its establishment to today?
Our company is a family business. While it has a long history of serving in different production areas, our current production of "Polymer Mixer Systems" has been continuing since 1975. As the third generation, we continue our production activities. Our company, which started in a small workshop in Istanbul Bayrampaşa in its early days, now continues its production activities in Esenyurt. It is our tradition to manufacture machines that create added value, driven by the spirit that comes from our production culture. What are Dermak Makina's products and product groups? Which sectors do you serve?
Dermak Makina's area of expertise is raw material mixing systems. We manufacture mixer systems for all polymer groups. Low and high-speed mixing systems for powder and liquid polymers are part of our production range. In broad terms, our company is the leading manufacturer in Turkey for PVC, PE, PP, Epoxy, Masterbatch and Powder Coating mixtures. Supporting the national economy through exports, Dermak Makina moves forward with confident steps towards the future.Could you tell us about your domestic and international sales activities? Which regions do you primarily sell to?
90 percent of our production is directed to exports. Russia, Turkic Republics, the Balkans and Eastern Europe stand out as locomotive markets. Recently, we have also begun exporting to the USA, Italy and Southeast Asian countries.Could you tell us about your targets and projects?
Our goal is to increase our exports with rising momentum and raise our production capacity in parallel with this momentum. Creating more resources for R&D work also emerges as a necessity. Additionally, moving to a larger and new production facility is among our plans. The main objective is to develop our production in the light of Industry 4.0 and carry it forward into the future. What does Industry 4.0 mean for you? What are your projects and activities related to this?
The autonomous world is increasingly taking up more space in our lives every day. We have begun preparing our machines for Industry 4.0 readiness. In our operating systems, remote access and the transmission of process and capacity notifications to users as message information are among our current services. Depending on developments worldwide, Industry 4.0 remains within our monitoring scope and our machines are updated in light of these developments.Could you provide information about the new technologies you use in machine manufacturing?
High-quality production can only be achieved with high-quality equipment and machinery. We follow the necessary steps demanded by the era from design through production and shipping. All software and equipment we use are original licensed products. What strategies do you apply to determine customer expectations?
We work diligently to provide our customers with uninterrupted support. Through remote access applications on our machines, we can provide rapid service. If we cannot find a solution, we certainly provide on-site service. In addition to service support, we provide our customers with information about newly developed machines and equipment. Our efforts to achieve lower energy consumption and greater capacity continue without pause. Is there anything else you would like to add?
In line with the principle stated by our eternal leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of our Republic, as far back as 1922: "Complete independence is only possible through economic independence," we are compelled to advance toward great goals through uninterrupted production. I wish success in their work to all my colleagues who contribute to our country through production.Advertisement
