Armis Yatak's Success Story

Could you briefly introduce yourself and your educational background to our readers?

I was born in Gaziantep in 1985. After completing my primary, secondary and high school education in Ankara, I graduated from Yeditepe University's Department of Computer Engineering. Following my university education, I began working at Acme Holding, our family business.

Could you tell us about Armis Yatak's success story from its establishment to becoming a brand today?

Armis Yatak is a subsidiary of ACME Group, which also includes the brands Acme Tekstil, Etrofil İplik, Doğu Taşıt Muayene İstasyonları, Artemis Halı, and Armis Halı. In 2017, we began producing beds, bases, quilts, pillows and bedding sets at a factory established in Yalova Kirazlı Industrial Site with state-of-the-art machinery. However, in the face of strong demand, we relocated to our new facilities in İzmir Torbalı as of September 2018. This increased our Armis Yatak production capacity threefold. Following trends and modern production techniques closely and reflecting them in our designs, Armis Yatak produces world-standard products for ergonomic, comfortable and healthy sleep with a new, dynamic vision and solid infrastructure. As Armis Yatak, we currently sell at 600 points of sale domestically.

The most important characteristic behind Armis Yatak's success is that we operate as a team and family. In addition, by leveraging the market strength and experience of our Artemis Halı brand, we achieved significant volume in a short time as Armis Yatak.

Could you provide information about Armis Yatak's sponge product groups?

In the mattresses we produce, we prefer the latest technology visco sponge, latex sponge made from natural material, and high-density durable sponge groups.

Could you provide information about your export activities?

We are currently exporting actively to 28 countries. We are developing 40% of our capacity towards our export targets.

In your opinion, what are the conditions for being a global brand?

I believe it is important to have a wide product range that appeals to all segments, to produce with an innovative vision without compromising on quality, and to have a wide network of stores that will bring the final consumer together with correct marketing strategies.

Could you provide information about your production facilities?

Our production facility located in İzmir Torbalı covers a total area of 50,000 square meters, comprising 32,000 square meters enclosed and 18,000 square meters open. We continue our production with a daily capacity of 550 beds, 150 base and headboard sets. With new investments we are making to increase our capacity, we aim to double these figures by the end of June.

Could you provide information about your production facilities?

Our production facility located in İzmir Torbalı covers a total area of 50,000 square meters, comprising 32,000 square meters enclosed and 18,000 square meters open. We continue our production with a daily capacity of 550 beds, 150 base and headboard sets. With new investments we are making to increase our capacity, we aim to double these figures by the end of June. "We have invested in robotics because we want to increase our current base production capacity and produce more stable base frames with minimal error margins."

Could you provide information about the collaboration you have conducted with RobAtik company for robot investment as Armis Yatak?

We have invested in robotics to increase our current base production capacity and produce more stable base frames with minimal error margins. As a result of our research, we have established a partnership with RobAtik and plan to add robotic support to our current welding workshop to triple our production volumes.

Developing technology and digitalization offer innovative opportunities for many sectors. What are your digital transformation efforts as Armis Yatak?

For digital transformation, we have launched an online sales channel on our corporate website, enabling our customers to easily access our products without visiting our stores. We also use the latest technology in the design of our products, producing the drawings and manufacturing accordingly.

Today, given that our living resources are at risk, the need for environmental measures has increased further. What measures have you taken for a sustainable future?

As Armis Yatak, we pursue an environmentally conscious policy by selecting materials in our raw materials that do not pollute the environment and can be used for recycling.
