Minimalist and Eco-Friendly Approach on the Rise in Decoration

Migration from rural to urban areas has led to increased urban populations and more challenging living conditions, inevitably leaving behind some of our traditional ways of life. Today, individual needs take priority, and more compact living and working spaces are becoming preferred. As time progresses, developing information technologies will change the functions of living spaces. As a result of assigning different functions to the same areas, we now live and work in smaller spaces. For this reason, the number of rooms in our homes is decreasing, and different functions can now be accommodated within the same space. Alternatively, movable partitions can enable transformations between spaces. In the coming years, individuals will begin using their homes as both offices and living spaces thanks to advancing technology. The number of furniture pieces will decrease, their dimensions will shrink, and comfort, the ability to provide multiple functions in a single piece of furniture, and compactness will become increasingly important. People will tend to live with fewer products. Kitchens in homes will become smaller, generally merging with living rooms, with living rooms serving multiple different functions. Storage needs will decrease, as technological advances enable people to store many items in virtual environments. The need for photo albums has declined, and the storage space required for them has become insignificant. Through cloud storage, people can keep all their personal data and share it if needed. In the future, there will no longer be separate dining rooms; kitchens will serve the same purpose as dining areas. More environmentally conscious products will gain prominence in our homes. Technological advances will impact our home life, with automation and advanced control systems becoming affordable and widespread in our homes. Smart appliances in smart homes will automatically meet most of our needs through the internet.
