Yorglass Continues Senior Management Appointments

As Yorglass prepares to celebrate its 50th anniversary, the company continues with senior-level appointments. In this context, the company has made an important appointment in its finance department, with experienced businessman Erkut Tekinkaya becoming its new CFO. With 34 years of industry experience, Tekinkaya aims to contribute to Yorglass's continued growth and success throughout his career at the company. An important appointment has been made at Yorglass, which leads the sector with its expertise and experience in industrial glass processing and flat glass trading. Erkut Tekinkaya, who has led the finance departments of numerous national and international companies, has become Yorglass's new CFO.

Managing Yorglass's financial targets with 34 years of experience

Erkut Tekinkaya graduated from the Business Administration department at Marmara University. He holds an MBA from Istanbul University's International Business program and an Executive MBA from Koç University's Business Administration program. Tekinkaya began his business career in 1990 as an Export Specialist at Tayan Tekstil, and subsequently worked in various positions at Betek A.Ş, Ramko Construction A.Ş., Vodafone Net Communication Services A.Ş., Zer A.Ş and KoçSistem. Between 2017 and 2023, Erkut Tekinkaya served as Chairman and member of the Board of Directors at companies within the Koç Group, and as of February 2024, he has taken on the role of CFO at Yorglass.   Yorglass Founded in 1974, Yorglass leads the sector through its expertise in industrial glass processing and flat glass trading. Operating in line with its vision of becoming a global brand, Yorglass serves domestic and international markets with a rich product portfolio. Yorglass established its first heat-resistant glass facility in the Aegean Region in 1988, and commissioned its white goods glass production facility in Bolu in 1989. With the commissioning of factories in Eskişehir in 2015, Bolu in 2017 and Manisa in 2019, the company continued its operations while multiplying customer satisfaction. Until 2019, the company operated under the name Cam Merkezi A.Ş. with the brands Yorsan, Yorim and Yorglas, and at its 45th year, renewed its corporate identity by consolidating its brands and operations under the Yorglass umbrella. Having commissioned its Çerkezköy facility in 2020, Yorglass currently conducts its manufacturing and trading operations at seven facilities located in five different cities in Turkey under the business units Yorglass Trade, Yorglass Satina, Yorglass Commercial Refrigeration and Yorglass White Goods, exports its products to nearly 60 countries, and is among Turkey's largest 500 industrial enterprises.
