Management Board Restructuring at Yaşar Holding Following the passing of Board Chairman Mustafa Selim Yaşar, one of Turkey's leading industrial conglomerates, Yaşar Holding, has restructured its Board of Directors.

Feyhan Yaşar Elected as Yaşar Holding Board Chairman

The new board structure leading Yaşar Holding into the future is as follows: Board Chairman Feyhan Yaşar, Vice Chairman İdil Yiğitbaşı, Board Members Yılmaz Gökoğlu, Cengiz Erol, Mehmet Aktaş, Kemal Semerciler and Hakkı Hikmet Altan. Who is Feyhan Yaşar?

Feyhan Yaşar began his career in 1978 at DYO, one of Yaşar Group companies. He later held positions as a manager in finance and management at Yaşar Group. Following Selçuk Yaşar's appointment as Honorary Chairman, Feyhan Yaşar served as Yaşar Holding Board Chairman from 2004 to 2009. Having served on the Board of Directors of Group companies for many years, Feyhan Yaşar served as Yaşar Holding Vice President from 2014 to 2021. As of January 2022, Feyhan Yaşar is Board Chairman of Yaşar Holding. He also serves on the Boards of Directors of Group companies. Beyond his business career, Feyhan Yaşar actively serves in numerous civil society organizations supporting society's development in the fields of education, culture, arts and sports. He is Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Yaşar Education and Culture Foundation, Member of the Board of Trustees of Selçuk Yaşar Sports and Education Foundation and Member of the Board of Trustees of Yaşar University. In addition to his business career, he has held positions as Member of TÜSİAD Board of Directors, Chairman of TOBB Beverage Industry Assembly, Chairman of DEIK Denmark Business Council, and as a member of the World Economic Forum (WEF), he participates in the annual DAVOS meetings. He is a Member of the Executive Board of DEIK United Arab Emirates Business Council, Member of EBSO Assembly, Member of SEV Board of Trustees, Member of Boğaziçi University Foundation Board of Trustees; and is a member of TÜSİAD, SETBİR and ESİAD. Feyhan Yaşar has been providing individual support since 2011 to the excavations of Teos Ancient City in İzmir-Seferihisar, carried out by the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and has been Luxembourg Honorary Consul since 2014. Feyhan Yaşar completed his undergraduate education at Boğaziçi University Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Department of Business Administration, and his master's degree in Economics at Dokuz Eylül University. He is fluent in English and French.
