Şişecam Receives 'Excellence' Award

Şişecam wins Distinction Award at International Safety Awards, the highest category in the prestigious ceremony organized by British Safety Council. With more than 24,000 employees and production operations in 14 countries, Şişecam continues to gain recognition for its exemplary practices that prioritize people. Şişecam has earned the Distinction Award at the International Safety Awards organized by British Safety Council, one of the leading authorities in the field, with the participation of 978 institutions from 44 different countries. Evaluated by an independent jury of British Safety Council members, Şişecam received the Distinction Award—the highest category honor—based on its approach to preventing workplace injuries and work-related illnesses in 2022, as well as its workplace wellness initiatives. British Safety Council Chief Executive Mike Robinson stated: "We congratulate Şişecam on this achievement. This award recognizes Şişecam's determination and hard work in keeping its employees and workplaces free from injury and illness." Celebrating its 65th year this year, the International Safety Awards honors companies and initiatives from around the world that undertake work to prevent workplace injuries and illnesses and achieve effective results from these efforts.
