Sanofi Türkiye Announces New Appointment

Cherif Omar appointed General Manager of Sanofi Turkey Consumer HealthCherif Omar, who previously served as General Manager of Consumer Health for Egypt, Sudan and Eritrea at Sanofi, was appointed as General Manager of Sanofi Turkey Consumer Health as of November 2021. Cherif Omar is a graduate of Alexandria University Faculty of Pharmacy and holds a master's degree in business administration from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport. Omar began his career in 2004 in the fast-moving consumer goods sector, where he held various roles including Marketing Manager, Commercial Category Manager and Brand Manager. In 2012, he transitioned to the pharmaceutical sector, serving as Marketing Director for the Africa and Middle East region at Novartis Consumer Health Business Unit. Cherif Omar began his career journey at Sanofi in 2014, taking the position of Director of Sanofi Egypt Consumer Health Business Unit. In January 2017, he was appointed General Manager of Consumer Health for Egypt, Sudan and Eritrea. In his new role, Cherif Omar will lead Sanofi Turkey's Consumer Health team.
