Senior Management Change at Sanofi Pasteur Turkey
Sanofi Pasteur Turkey, Iran and Levant General Manager Dr. Emin Turan has been appointed General Manager of General Medicines for Sanofi Indochina Multi-Country Organization and Country Head of Vietnam.
According to a statement from Sanofi, Turan, who has more than 27 years of experience in numerous areas related to the pharmaceutical and vaccine sectors, including global corporate functions and country/cluster management, has held various positions within Sanofi for over 20 years.
A graduate of the Faculty of Medicine at Ege University, Turan holds master's degrees in business administration from Marmara and Maine Universities. He began his career as a medical advisor at Hoechst Pharma. In May 1994, he took a position as product manager at Organon, and from 1996 to 1999, he served as national sales director at the same company. Turan joined Sanofi Pasteur in August 1999 as director responsible for sales and marketing. He subsequently took on general manager roles overseeing commercial, sales and marketing functions at various Sanofi Pasteur country offices, including those in the United States, South Korea and Thailand. Returning to Turkey in early 2014 as Turkey-Iran General Manager, Turan has served as Turkey Eurasia Regional Head since February 2017, overseeing 14 countries including Turkey, Israel, Iran, Russia and Kazakhstan.
As of 1 July, Dr. Emin Turan is appointed to the position of General Manager of General Medicines and Country Head of Vietnam for Sanofi Indochina Multi-Country Organization (MCO). In this role, he will establish the organization's strategic roadmap and ensure the optimal implementation of Sanofi's operations in the region. He will also be responsible for improving the organization's growth and business success by taking steps to develop critical skills needed to accelerate cultural transformation.
