Key Appointment at Sanofi Sanofi has appointed Kağan Keklik, General Manager and Country Head of Sanofi Iran General Medicines, to the position of General Manager and Country Head of Sanofi Southern Africa, Namibia and Botswana. Keklik previously held significant responsibilities both domestically and internationally.

Who is Kağan Keklik?

After completing his secondary education at Galatasaray High School, Kağan Keklik earned his bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Boğaziçi University. He subsequently completed MBA programmes at Istanbul Technical University and Exeter University (United Kingdom). He began his career as Sales Manager at Eczacıbaşı-Baxter, later holding positions as Product Manager, Senior Product Manager, and Marketing Manager. Kağan Keklik joined Sanofi in 2008, serving successively as Director of Central Nervous System Marketing and Sales, Director of Primary Care Sales, Director of Pharmacy Group Sales and Marketing, and Director of Consumer Healthcare Business Unit. While serving as General Manager of Sanofi Consumer Healthcare, Keklik was responsible for operations in Turkey, Syria, Pakistan, Iran and Israel. After a period as Commercial Director of Consumer Healthcare for the AMESA region, he became General Manager and Country Head of Iran Prescription Medicines (Rx) in 2019. Most recently, he served as General Manager and Country Head of Sanofi Iran General Medicines. With strong marketing and sales capabilities and diverse experience across multiple therapeutic areas in different markets, Kağan Keklik will be responsible in his new position for ensuring seamless regional operations and improving patient access to medicines.
