Saint-Gobain Türkiye Appoints New CEO
Aykut Aydoğan, who has held various positions within the Saint-Gobain Group since 2000, has been appointed as CEO of Saint-Gobain Turkey.
With this new role, Aydoğan assumed responsibility for Weber, Rigips and İzocam, the companies operating under Saint-Gobain in Turkey.

Aykut Aydoğan, who continues in his position as General Manager of Saint-Gobain Abrasives Middle East and Africa, was appointed as CEO of Saint-Gobain Turkey as of 1 September 2021.
In his new position, Aydoğan took on responsibility for Weber, the leading brand in the industrial building mortars sector, and Rigips, one of the leading brands in the gypsum products sector. He will also serve on the board of directors of İzocam, which has been operating since 2006 through a partnership between the Saint-Gobain Group and the Kuwait Alghanim Group.
Aykut Aydoğan graduated from the Civil Engineering Department of Istanbul Technical University in 1996. In the later years of his professional career, he participated in the Executive MBA program at Koç University.
Aydoğan began his career at Saint-Gobain in 2000 within Weber Turkey, taking on various roles in sales and marketing units. In 2010, he was appointed as Sales Director of Saint-Gobain Abrasives Turkey, and in 2014, he was promoted to Country Manager.
During this assignment, he successfully managed all processes in establishing the abrasive materials business line and transforming it into a regional production hub.
In 2018, Aydoğan assumed responsibility as General Manager of Saint-Gobain Abrasives Turkey and Middle East, and most recently served as General Manager of the Abrasives Middle East and Africa region. He is married and has one child.
