PepsiCo Makes Key Appointments Ece Aksel, experienced General Manager of PepsiCo Turkey, has been appointed General Manager for Central Europe, while Evrim Şen, who previously served as Vice President of Sales at PepsiCo, becomes General Manager of Turkey. PepsiCo announced two significant appointments effective 1 October 2022. Ece Aksel, General Manager of PepsiCo who joined the company 18 years ago as Senior Director of Marketing responsible for Turkey and Central Europe, has been appointed General Manager for Central Europe. Evrim Şen, Vice President of Sales at PepsiCo who held management positions at different companies in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands before joining PepsiCo, becomes General Manager of Turkey. Aksel will work to develop and strengthen business and organizational structure in her new role   Since becoming General Manager of PepsiCo in 2019, Ece Aksel has managed PepsiCo Turkey effectively through the global pandemic and despite economic and financial volatility, delivering successful operations. With an impressive career, Aksel, who joined PepsiCo 18 years ago, held positions as Senior Director of Marketing responsible for Turkey and Central Europe, Senior Director of Turkey Commercial Functions, General Manager of Turkey Foods, and subsequently Senior Vice President of Eastern Europe Foods Category at PepsiCo. Over the past three years serving as General Manager of Turkey, Aksel stands out among PepsiCo's key leaders for her achievements during her tenure. Before joining PepsiCo, Aksel undertook challenging roles over 12 years at P&G in the United States, Turkey and North Africa. In her role as General Manager for Central Europe, comprising 5 market units (Poland, Eastern Balkans, South-Central Europe and Baltic Countries, Greece & Cyprus, and Ukraine) and covering more than 20 countries, with 12 factories and various GTM models, Aksel will work to develop and strengthen business and organizational structure while remaining based in Istanbul.

Evrim Şen, the new General Manager of PepsiCo Turkey, stands out for his achievements

With Aksel's transition, Evrim Şen has been appointed General Manager of Turkey. Şen joined PepsiCo 10 years ago as Foods Marketing Director for the United Kingdom. During his career at PepsiCo, he successfully held positions as Senior Director of Eastern Europe Foods Category Marketing, Senior Director of Turkey Marketing, and Senior Director of Turkey Commercial Functions, before moving to the role of Vice President of Sales as of 2020, leading all sales channels together with DX and GTM teams. Şen, through his commitment, consumer and customer focus, and organizational leadership, led the initiation of significant digital transformation initiatives as well as accelerating growth across sales channels. Before joining PepsiCo, Şen held numerous different positions in marketing and strategy at Cadbury and Johnson & Johnson across Europe, Middle East and Africa regions. He also served in a management capacity at AIESEC, a global non-governmental organization. After graduating from Istanbul University, Şen completed the Strategic Marketing program at Ashridge/Hult International Business School.
