Novo Nordisk Türkiye Announces New Appointments
Novo Nordisk Turkey exports executive to South East Europe, Middle East and Africa Region. In this context, new appointments were made at Novo Nordisk Turkey.
Novo Nordisk Turkey continues to export executives to the global management of Novo Nordisk, headquartered in Denmark. The Turkish team, which in previous years has sent many managers abroad as senior executives, this time exported an executive to the South East Europe, Middle East and Africa (SEEMEA) Region. Novo Nordisk, in addition to being a global leader in diabetes and obesity treatment, continues its work as a leading company in growth hormone deficiency treatment, hemophilia, and hormone replacement therapy.
Ayça Öztürk Orhun, Director of Novo Nordisk Turkey Biopharmaceutical Business Unit, was appointed as Director of SEEMEA Region Biopharmaceutical Business Unit.
Rabia Demet Özcan, Director of Clinical, Medical, Regulatory and Quality at Novo Nordisk Turkey, was appointed to the position of Director of Novo Nordisk Turkey Biopharmaceutical Business Unit; and Ömer Buğra Bahadır, Manager of Medical and Scientific Operations, was appointed to the position of Director of Novo Nordisk Turkey Clinical, Medical, Regulatory and Quality.
Ayça Öztürk Orhun graduated from Boğaziçi University Department of Chemistry and completed an Executive MBA at the same university. Before joining Novo Nordisk in 2019, she held leadership positions in Sales Marketing, Business Excellence, Strategic Planning and Business Development at Amgen Turkey and Amgen EEMEA Region. She served as a manager in Janssen Pharmaceuticals of Johnson & Johnson Turkey and EMEA Region organizations.
Rabia Demet Özcan graduated from Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine and began her career as a Product Manager at Schering, a German pharmaceutical company. She subsequently held positions at Sanofi Pharma as Diabetes Medical Manager, Diabetes and Cardiovascular Medical Affairs Manager, Global Medical Director responsible for Type 1 Diabetes, and Global Medical Insulin Team Leader. She joined Novo Nordisk Turkey in 2017 as Director of Clinical, Medical, Regulatory and Quality.
Ömer Buğra Bahadır graduated from Kocaeli University Faculty of Medicine and began his career as a Medical Manager at AstraZeneca. He subsequently served as Medical Manager responsible for Turkey and Middle East at Bausch+Lomb.
He joined Novo Nordisk in 2016, initially working in project management in the Turkey Clinical Research Unit, and subsequently served as GLP-1 & Obesity Manager for the AAMEO Region.
He worked for a period in the Global Regulatory Department in Denmark, responsible for regulatory processes. For the past 2 years, he has been working as Novo Nordisk Medical and Scientific Operations Manager.
