Applications have opened for the 15th cycle of the Women Leaders of Tomorrow Programme (GKL), which has been running since 2010 through a partnership between Sanofi Türkiye and the Turkish Women Entrepreneurs Association (KAGİDER). In its 15th year, the GKL Programme will open the doors of the leadership journey to 100 more young women.
The programme, through which 1,850 young women have graduated to date, aims to increase women's participation in the business world; to enable young women to become stronger, confident and more visible individuals in their social and professional lives. Through the programme, participants gain access to the knowledge, skills and networks they need during their preparation for business life, creating an opportunity to achieve a more equal place in employment.
Applications open until 31 August
Young women who graduated from universities in 2025 or will graduate in 2026, preferably received scholarships, have internship or part-time work experience, actively participated in social responsibility projects, are open to development and have high career goals can apply to the programme until 31 August 2025 via www.geleceginkadinliderleri.org.
Graduates at GKL Inspiration Meetings
The 100 young women selected in the new cycle will participate in an in-person training programme to be held in Istanbul on 6-7 November and will join the "Women Leaders of Tomorrow" alumni network. During the programme, participants will receive training on emerging topics such as technology, project management, entrepreneurship and sustainability; while also having the opportunity to develop themselves in personal development areas such as storytelling and relationship design.
Young women who receive certificates at the end of the training process join a broad and mutually supportive alumni network and also have the chance to share their inspiring stories on stage at the annual GKL Inspiration Meetings alongside Turkey's leading figures in their fields.
Programme investment returns to society sixfold
92% of the programme's graduates over 15 years are active in business life, while 22% have reached senior management positions. Additionally, 6% have become entrepreneurs by starting their own businesses. The Social Return on Investment (SROI) report, which measures the programme's social impact, reveals that every 1 unit of investment generates a return value of 6 times to society.
