ELIX Polymers Appoints New CEO

ELIX Polymers' Board of Directors appointed David Castañeda as Chief Executive Officer and Board Member of ELIX Polymers SL ("ELIX") effective 8 April 2019. David Castañeda succeeds Wolfgang Doering, who resigned at the end of March. Wolfgang Doering has made significant contributions since 2012 to the development of ELIX Polymers within Sun European Partners LLP and to the initial steps toward ELIX's integration into Sinochem International (Overseas) Pte. Ltd., the chemical group company, as of 9 January 2019. During this period, a new corporate culture emerged that attracted talented and experienced professionals and supported their development. This enabled the company to grow profitably while achieving financial stability, fostering a collaborative environment in which different business units created more effective and sustainable processes, and placing customer needs at the center of company strategy.
