Boysan A.Ş., established in 1969, has stood alongside every producer in Turkey's paints industry, from the largest to the smallest. As a local distributor, we have always placed quality at the forefront from our founding day onwards. This has formed the foundation for trust in our operations, our customers, our services and our suppliers—both in our company and in Turkey's paints industry. Today, we serve as representatives and distributors for leading international manufacturers in the paints, construction chemicals and plastic additives sectors. We distribute BASF's dispersion polymers, wetting agents and surface modifiers, foam suppressants, light stabilisers and UV additives, resins, pigments and pigment preparations on an exclusive basis in both Turkey and the Turkic republics; LANXESS iron oxide pigments; TROY biocides; SHINETSU SE TYLOSE cellulose ethers; AGRANA starch ethers; GRACE matting agents and silicas; SNCZ zinc phosphate and other anti-corrosive pigments; LUCITE MMA-based bead thermoplastic resins; MICROPOWDERS micronised waxes; TEMIX plasticisers and esters; TOR MINERALS and EUROPIREN flame-retardant fillers.

We are a team of 42 people, with 21 actively involved in sales, and all of them have training in chemistry or chemical engineering. We attach importance to this because in the market we do not work purely for sales purposes; from formulation development through to the final product, we work as complete solution partners with our customers.

In addition, we have a Technical Director who provides comprehensive technical support to both our team and our customers—something that is among the firsts among local distributor companies. At the end of 2015, Boysan underwent a merger process. We achieved a full merger with our sister company Tarakim A.Ş. and established the strategies and corporate identity that will carry Boysan A.Ş., which has a 50-year history, into the next 50 years. We updated our entire visual identity to meet the requirements of today. The reflections of our work over the past year or two can be clearly seen at the paintistanbul & Turkcoat fair. We attach great importance to this fair, where we have participated from the beginning, in terms of bringing together our suppliers and customers. Our confidence in Turkey, in Turkey's growth, and particularly in the development of the paints sector in which we operate, is complete. We are building our future plans on strategies aligned with this confidence and the sector's growth targets. Thanks to our global suppliers and international relationships, we closely follow changing production technologies, ecological demands and related developing trends around the world. We are fulfilling and will continue to fulfil the responsibilities incumbent upon us to ensure that our country and our paints sector always remain at the forefront of these developments. This year we plan to move to our own building located in Tuzla BOSB. We will redesign the building with modern architecture to serve as both office and our own bonded warehouse and free warehouse. In particular, with our newly established fully equipped laboratory, we will take considerable pride in raising our solution partnership and service quality to our customers to the next level. With this opportunity, I wish to state that Boysan, as a company that has operated for nearly 50 years in Turkey's paints industry without compromising its principled approach to service and quality, will leave its mark on the next 50 years with the same enthusiasm and dedication, and will continue to move forward with confident and determined steps towards our 100th year, growing together with all.
