Change of Leadership at Bosch Turkey
Steven Young began his Bosch career as General Manager of the newly established Bosch Rexroth following the merger of Bosch and Mannesmann Rexroth. In 2011, Young was appointed to the position of General Manager of Bosch Turkey, and as of 2015, he took on the additional responsibility of the Middle East region, assuming the role of President of Bosch Turkey and Middle East, which he continued to lead successfully.
Under Steven Young's leadership, Turkey became the center of the Bosch Turkey and Middle East Region as of 1 January 2015, with 16 countries including the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Jordan, Pakistan, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia being managed from the Bosch Turkey headquarters in Istanbul.

In just the last 10 years alone, the total investments made by the Bosch Group in Turkey reached EUR 2 billion, Bosch Turkey's total employment increased from 10,000 to 18,000, and annual turnover rose from EUR 2 billion to EUR 3.6 billion. During the same period, Bosch Turkey's annual exports increased from EUR 1 billion to EUR 2.18 billion in 2020, reaching 1.5 percent of Turkey's total exports.
Steven Young served as Co-Chair of the G20/B20 2015 Turkey Employment Task Force, and since November 2015 has served as President of the DEIK (Foreign Economic Relations Board) Turkey-Germany Business Council. Steven Young held the position of Vice-Chairman of AHK (German-Turkish Chamber of Industry and Commerce) from 2013 to 2016.
Between 2013 and 2019, Young served as Deputy Chairman of the Board of YASED (Association of International Investors). He is also a Founding Board Member of TUSIAD/TCCI (Turkish Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association/Turkey Change Culture Initiative), a Board Member of the Board of Directors of the Private German High School Association, and a Trustee Member of Turkish-German University. Steven Young began his business career in 1988 as a Special Projects Engineer at Mannesmann Australia. Until 1994, he held various positions at the same company, including at Mannesmann Rexroth's headquarters in Germany. In 1995, at just 30 years old, Young was appointed General Manager of Mannesmann Rexroth Turkey. Daniel Korioth will assume the position of President of Bosch Turkey and Middle East from Steven Young on 1 August 2021. In addition to his representation of the Bosch Group's Hungary and Adriatic Region, Korioth also serves as General Manager of Bosch Hungary, overseeing the company's operations in the country. Daniel Korioth joined the Bosch Group in 1989. Before assuming his position as Representative for Hungary and the Adriatic Region and General Manager of Robert Bosch Kft in November 2016, he held senior positions in Spain, Argentina, Germany, and Brazil. Korioth serves as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the group's companies in the region: Robert Bosch Energy and Body Systems Kft, Robert Bosch Power Tools, Robert Bosch Automotive Steering Kft., and Robert Bosch Elektronika Kft. He is also a member of the advisory board of Budapest Corvinus University and the German-Hungarian Chamber of Commerce.
