Borusan Mannesmann Becomes First Company in Steel Sector with White Flag Certification Borusan Grup subsidiary Borusan Mannesmann has become the first company in the steel and steel pipe sector to receive White Flag certification under the White Flag programme, launched for the first time this year through a partnership between the Ministry of Labour and Social Security and the Turkish Confederation of Employer Associations (TİSK). The programme, designed for unionised enterprises, rewards "responsible employers" who protect worker rights and provide suitable working environments. Borusan Mannesmann has emerged as a leading brand in its sector under the White Flag programme, launched for the first time this year through a partnership between the Ministry of Labour and Social Security and the Turkish Confederation of Employer Associations. Through the equitable working environment it provides to its employees, workplaces prioritising occupational health and safety, transparent communication with workers and full compliance with tax obligations, Borusan Mannesmann has become the first company in the steel and steel pipe sector deemed worthy of White Flag certification.  

Award recognising respect for employees
