Bayer Appoints Daniel Webers as CFO of MENAT Region

Daniel Webers, who has been serving as Group Finance Transformation Lead at Bayer's headquarters in Germany, has been appointed Regional CFO responsible for North Africa, Middle East, Turkey and Iran (MENAT), effective 1 July 2025.

Daniel Webers studied business administration at Cooperative Education University in Bochum and began his career at Bayer through an Industrial Training apprenticeship programme at the Bergkamen facility in Germany. Throughout his career, he has held positions in various functions including Marketing and Sales Excellence, Group Compliance, Audit and Risk Management, and Group Finance within the Pharmaceuticals Division. Before taking on his role as Group Finance Transformation Leader at Bayer Germany, Webers served as Chief Financial Officer for the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) in Moscow, Russia.
Daniel Webers has worked with the vision of promoting a high-performance culture and supporting team development in all countries under his responsibility.
With extensive experience at Bayer, Daniel Webers will manage financial processes in the MENAT region in his new role and will continue to develop financial strategies aimed at creating value in line with regional strategies and supporting the company's sustainable growth. Webers will be based in Istanbul.
