Leadership Transition at Akkök Holding Akkök Holding's new Chief Executive Officer is İhsan Gökşin Durusoy. Durusoy currently serves as Board Member at Akkök Holding and General Manager at Akiş GYO. Ahmet Cemal Dördüncü, Chief Executive Officer of Akkök Holding—which operates across numerous sectors including chemicals, energy and real estate—is passing the baton to İhsan Gökşin Durusoy, who has held various positions within the group for 33 years. Durusoy currently serves as Board Member at Akkök Holding and General Manager at Akiş GYO. Effective 1 January 2023, Ahmet Cemal Dördüncü will continue to work as a consultant to the holding's management. İhsan Gökşin Durusoy began his career as a Production Engineer at Arçelik. During 1988-1989, he served as Head of Financial Affairs and Data Processing at İzmir Demir Çelik A.Ş. In 1989, he joined Ak-Al Tekstil Sanayii A.Ş., an Akkök Group company, as Budget Planning Manager, subsequently holding the positions of Budget Planning Director and Strategic Planning Director at the same company. At Akiş GYO, Durusoy became Deputy General Manager in 2007 and has served as Board Member and General Manager since 2009, while also holding board positions at various other Akkök Group companies.
