YEO Teknoloji Signs EPC Agreement for Kosovo's Largest Solar Power Plant

YEO Teknoloji has signed a turnkey EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) contract for a 130 MWp capacity solar power plant to be built in Kosovo, adding another renewable energy investment in Europe to its portfolio.

Under the agreement executed with Lindi Solar LLC, a subsidiary of Switzerland-based Orllati Group and Holdinginova Group, the project will become Kosovo's largest renewable energy facility upon completion.

YEO Teknoloji to manage all EPC processes
Under the agreement, YEO Teknoloji will be responsible for all engineering, procurement and construction phases of the project.

The company will undertake engineering, equipment procurement, assembly, testing and commissioning work for the solar power plant installation as well as the high-voltage transformer center, electrical transmission line and grid connection.

Construction is planned to commence in the near term, with the facility targeted for completion and commissioning in 2027.

The facility, with an installed capacity of 130 MWp, is expected to significantly increase Kosovo's renewable energy capacity.

The project is expected to play an important role not only in electricity generation but also in strengthening the country's energy supply security, accelerating the clean energy transition and supporting sustainable development goals.

Upon commissioning, the plant is projected to be one of the largest investments in Kosovo's renewable energy portfolio.
