YASTED Elects Arzu Kaprol as New President

Arzu Kaprol Elected President of YASTED in New Term Arzu Kaprol has been elected to the presidency of the Association for Information Technologies in Life Sciences and Health (YASTED) at the ordinary general assembly for the new term. Dr. Nilüfer Köylüoğlu, Dr. Sinan Korukluoğlu and Sertaç Ersayın have taken on the positions of vice president during a two-year period. YASTED Association, through professional and contemporary management understanding and with the aim of creating a developed society composed of healthy individuals, works to ensure the correct, effective and efficient use of information technology and technology in healthcare in a manner consistent with the rights of patients and physicians within the framework of establishing a well-organized and measurable health system. At YASTED Association's ordinary general assembly, the new term Board of Directors members were determined through the selection of members. Arzu Kaprol was appointed as YASTED Association President, and Dr. Nilüfer Köylüoğlu, Dr. Sinan Korukluoğlu and Eray Sertac Ersayin were designated as Vice Presidents. In this context, Volkan Özgül was elected General Secretary, and Deniz Başıbüyük was elected to the Treasurer and Board of Directors positions. Other names on the Board of Directors were determined as Dr. Sinem Burcu Erdoğan, Burak Günsev and Mete Bayrak. In the Audit Committee; Audit Committee President Mehmet Emin Genco, and Audit Committee Vice Presidents Prof. Dr. Cengizhan Öztürk and Prof. Dr. Haluk Özsarı serve.

In this context, one of our main duties will be to have Turkey sign projects that will be talked about on a global scale in the field of wearable technologies," he said. Prof. Dr. Haluk Özsarı said: "I experienced the finest examples of team understanding and sharing at YASTED as a Board Member for two terms. The coordination of our President, dear Arzu Kaprol, will make very valuable contributions to the future of health in the new administration. Not only as a civil society organization but also by putting into practice project-based public-private sector and academia-industry relations, we will together create and experience beautiful examples of such an approach," he said.
