Digital Transformation in Construction

Akçansa's "Betonik Fikirler Project Competition," organised to support young ideas, is taking place for the tenth time this year. This year's competition theme is "Digital Transformation in Building." The competition is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students and academics from all faculties of universities. The final application deadline has been set as 28 February. The competition expects the generation of new ideas on subjects such as renewal of an existing value chain with digital technologies, product development, implementation of a successful business model, and solving customer expectations and demands through coordination between people, business models and objects. Students and academics can participate in the competition, which has a final application deadline of 28 February 2019, in groups of minimum 2 and maximum 4 people from different faculties and departments. As a result of the competition, members of the first-place group will win a HeidelbergCement Germany Technical Visit, members of the second-place group will win an iPad and members of the third-place group will win an Apple Watch.   COMPETITION SCHEDULE Applications: 3 December – 28 February 2019 Project Submission Date: 28 February 2019 Awards Ceremony: May 2019
