The Future of Artificial Intelligence: AI (Tomorrow Summit) AIPA President Zafer Küçükşabanoğlu stated that they are working to support Turkey's artificial intelligence strategies and to raise awareness in the public sector, private sector, academia and entrepreneurship spheres, saying they will be present at every platform where artificial intelligence is discussed and aim to showcase the country's potential in this field to the entire world. Küçükşabanoğlu said, "On 10-11 February, we will organize the second edition of the 'AI (Tomorrow Summit)' event, which is one of the most comprehensive summits in Turkey and also one of the most comprehensive in Europe." Emphasizing that the online summit will attract intense participation from within and outside the country, Küçükşabanoğlu noted that topics such as metaverse, ChatGPT, space and climate will also be addressed. Küçükşabanoğlu provided information that 80 speakers will participate in 19 sessions at the event, explaining that awards called AITS Awards will be given following the sessions and artificial intelligence will be utilized in identifying their recipients.

"Artificial intelligence will be the driving force of economic development"

Stating that they aim to bring together successful individuals and organizations in Turkey, Küçükşabanoğlu noted that this year's slogan is "Running Towards the Future." Küçükşabanoğlu spoke as follows: "In these times when we are in the midst of the artificial intelligence age, in other words transformation, every step our country takes in this regard is invaluable. We know the interest of approximately 27 million young people aged zero to 21 in our country in technology. When we convert this interest into knowledge and then bring it together with entrepreneurship, we believe that Turkey will enter the top 10 economies. Considering that artificial intelligence is expected to reach an economic value of approximately 16 trillion dollars by 2030, we can say that artificial intelligence will be the driving force of economic development. Our country, especially on the subject of artificial intelligence and more broadly technology, must no longer arrive late to the future but must run towards it." Küçükşabanoğlu added that they will host many domestic and foreign guests at the opening and sessions of the event. Source (AA)
