X-Rite's "Sole Authorized Distributor" Across All Sectors, Odak Kimya, Holds Industrial Innovation Day Event

Odak Kimya launched its Industrial Innovation Day event, which also marked its establishment as X-Rite's Sole Authorised Distributor, recently at Hilton Kozyatağı Hotel with broad participation from industry professionals. Speaking at the opening of the event, which was organized to share innovations in Color Measurement, Communication and Management Solutions for the Paints, Plastics and Automotive sectors, Ayla Çuhadaoğlu stated: "In applications where color is a quality control criterion, accurate color communication and color management extending from design to production represent a highly important requirement for all manufacturers. X-Rite's new products are designed to address this need. We are excited to present these products to our participants." Ayla Çuhadaoğlu also emphasized that equipment performance requires devices to always be in proper condition due to their presence in companies' supply chains and their work with global brands. She noted that "Odak Kimya is, as of today, both the Sole Authorised Distributor and Sole Authorised Service Center of X-Rite in Turkey, and will continue its supportive work toward raising awareness in this area by providing complimentary condition checks on equipment." Speaking during presentations at the Innovation Day, X-RITE AETS & EMEA Region Application Engineering and Technical Support Manager Felix Schmollgruber emphasized parameters in selecting portable and desktop spectrophotometers with different measurement geometries, conveying the points to be considered for correct equipment selection.

Schmollgruber, who also discussed the advantages of the new contactless color measurement device Metavue in both wet paint measurement and retail sector applications, also described the superior features of the new generation multi-angle MA-T series spectrophotometers.

In his presentation, Felix Schmollgruber, which also included software and spectrophotometer configurations in new generation DIY solutions, introduced the Netprofiler system, which assists in maintaining equipment in proper condition at all times and plays a major role in digital workflows, and explained with examples how color accuracy is ensured throughout the entire supply chain and how color management from design to product is provided. One of the presentations at the Innovation Day was delivered by X-RITE Technical Support Specialist Roland Schiopu. Providing explanations regarding the MA-3 Multiangle spectrophotometer and Auto Search&Correct software suitable for the Automotive Refinish Coatings sector, Schiopu shared the maximum comfort achievable within the automotive repair dealer network with the audience through examples. X-RITE InLine Marketing and Sales Director Mafred Binder provided general information about X-Rite Inline Color Measurement Solutions in his presentation, sharing examples from applications in the paints, plastics and automotive sectors. Binder emphasized in his presentation that Inline Color Measurement Solutions should be positioned not only alongside laboratory color quality control systems but also specifically as process quality control. X-RITE Pantone, a world leader in color management, measurement and communication technologies, authorized its 20-year partner Odak Kimya as the Sole Authorised Distributor representing all products in the Turkey Region as of 2019. With this, the automotive, subsidiary industry and mining sectors were added to the sectors currently served by Odak Kimya, which addresses paints, plastics, textiles, ceramics, digital imaging, pre-press, printing and packaging, photography and design sectors, among others.
